Extremely-Low-Tech
Management Learning Tool
the beta version of an Anne Libby 2016 project!

NB:  The beta test launched on schedule, on 10/15, and closed down at the end of 1Q 2017.

Are you new to leading a team?  If you wish you had more support to become a better manager, I've spent a lot of time thinking about you

Managing people is a real life endeavor.  Like learning to ride a bike, you don't read about it first, and then do it.

This summer, I prototyped a self-directed management learning tool.  I've been inviting people like you to test it.   For more info, click on my very DIY video.

My prototype is built around a set of actions that you can take, to:
  • Reflect, learn, and practice your management skills
  • Construct a network of your peers and experienced mentors to support your development
  • Develop your eye for credible sources, and learning resources
  • Take informed action, supported by your peers and mentors
Beta testers will:
  • Receive free PDF versions of 2 products:  a set of actions, formatted as cards; and, a workbook/journal.
  • Be asked to respond to periodic questionnaires on how you're using the prototype.
  • Be invited to join a private Slack.  (Ask questions, give feedback -- or ask me anything about management.)
The beta test launched on October 15, and ended in early 2017.   I'm leaving this page out here as I consider next steps -- which may be to continue to use the cards privately in my work with clients, or to consider ways to spread the word more broadly.

Thanks,

Anne Libby

P.S.  If you don't know me, hello!   I'm a NYC-based consultant and coach to leaders in early stage and closely held organizations.  Here's a link to my website.  I keep this project list pretty up to date.  You can also find me on Twitter, or via my monthly newsletter.
